Building this site to work for every visitor
Burnsed Refrigerated Trucking and Express wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people using assistive technology. Here's where things stand.

Our target
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project, and we review the site as it changes.
What’s implemented
- Full keyboard navigation. Every link, button, and form control can be reached and operated without a mouse.
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements, including a high-contrast focus style on dark sections
- Respect for your operating system’s reduced-motion setting. Animations and transitions are minimized when requested.
- Semantic HTML structure with one main heading per page, ordered headings, landmarks, and labeled navigation.
- Color combinations chosen to meet contrast requirements across the site’s warm-paper, ink, and glacier-blue palette
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images and icons
Known limitations
Owner-supplied photography for this site is still in progress. In the meantime, photo locations are shown as labeled placeholders describing the exact shot that will go there, rather than stock or generic imagery. Each placeholder includes descriptive text for screen readers. We’ll replace these with real photography, including proper alt text, as it becomes available. As with any site, we treat accessibility as a continuous process. If something doesn’t work well for you, we want to know.
Reporting a barrier
If you use assistive technology and run into a problem on this site, please tell us. Include the page you were on and what happened, and we’ll look into it.
Our commitment
When a barrier is reported, we’ll review it and work to fix it. Accessibility is part of how we build and maintain this site going forward, not a step we finish and move on from.
